ILA/ACRL & IPAL Spring Conference

The ILA/ACRL & IPAL Spring Conference committee is excited to have you join us for our conference May 28-29, 2026 at Wartburg College (Waverly, IA). This year’s conference theme, Critical Thinking in Critical Times, reflects the essential role academic librarians play in fostering inquiry, discernment, and intellectual resilience amid rapidly evolving social, political, technological, and information landscapes. We are excited to have a full slate of concurrent sessions and lightning rounds discussing a variety of issues including but not limited to:

• capitalism and the library marketplace
• information literacy instruction
• library student employee training
• interdepartmental collaboration and so much more!
