In collaboration with the Iowa State and UNI Libraries, the University of Iowa Libraries is hosting an all-day ACRL workshop: Building Your Research Data Management Toolkit: Integrating RDM into Your Liaison Work. The workshop will be held at the Terry Trueblood Lodge in Iowa City, from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM on Friday, November 18. Expert presenters, Megan Sapp Nelson (Purdue University) and Abigail Goben (University of Illinois at Chicago), will assist liaison librarians to identify existing research data management (RDM) skills and create a RDM learning plan customized for their subject disciplines; and share tools and tips to facilitate partnerships with faculty and other RDM service providers.

This workshop is free and open to all Iowa academic librarians. Box lunches will be provided.

Librarians interested in research data management are encouraged to attend, but attendees are not expected to have any previous experience with research data management.
